Anupam Srivastava is the founder member and the partner of The Chambers of Law. He is a Campus Law Centre, Delhi University, alumnus.
He has the experience of more than 23 glorious years in the practice of civil and corporate laws, which are being witnessed by a plethora of judgments, serving as judicial precedents across the High Courts of the Country.
His expertise transcends the varied areas of civil and corporate practice, which includes the Real Estate Laws, Commercial Transactions, Company Matters and the Personal Laws.
He has wide experience in adjudication of debt recoveries by and against Bankers, Financial Institutions, Non Banking Finance Companies and has been successfully running programmes with various banks and NBFC’s in reducing their Non- performing assets.
Anupam is an eminent writer. His writings, have not only rendered a helping interpretation of the laws to the legal fraternity, however, have also simplified the intricate issues and complex interpretations of the laws related to the Real Estate and the Money Recovery for the benefit of the masses.
He has co-authored a book on a new enactment which has high impact for the Industry- Guide to Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehablitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. This book will serve as a guide to every one interested in the acquisition of the land. The book is published by CCH- A Wolters Klwer Business in 2014.
“A Hand Book on Real Estate Investment- A Legal Perspective”, written by him is the only book available in the market, which provides help to the laymen in his day to day life, for issues, being faced by him, related to real estate laws. The book was widely received by industry and real estate investors alike. Two editions of this book have been published.
Likewise he authored a book titled as ‘Legal Ways of Money Recovery – A Hand Book’, published by Lexis Nexis Butterworths. This book gives a practical insight into money recovery whilst also dealing with different legislations. This work makes it an interesting read for debtors and creditors alike.
He is a dynamic writer and has given a new perspective to the legal writing by discarding the stereotype approach of writing law books and the ‘Manupatra’s Code of Civil Procedure 1908’, is a living example. The book, popularly known as the white book, went on to become the first law book, in India, to be launched on the kindle. He further holds accolades for compiling the voluminous commentary of the entire Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 in the white book in a single volume.
He also holds honors for writing the 16th Edition of the ‘Mulla’s Code of Civil Procedure, 1908’ and for co-editing the 9th Edition of the Mulla’s Transfer of Property Act.
Abhilash Mathur has been in the legal profession for the last more than 20 years. He graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in the year 1990. He is also a graduate in Political Science (Honors) from the University of Delhi.
Abhilash has vast experience in the profession with regard to the Trial Court and Appellate Court litigation. He has successfully handled cases related to the Matrimonial Disputes, Tenancy, Property, Debt Recovery and Banking laws.
He was also associated with Mr. Dinesh Mathur, the most prominent Senior Advocate on the criminal side in the High Court of Delhi and assisted him in many high profile cases relating to the Prevention of Corruption Act, cheating, forgery and murders.
Abhilash has served as the Panel Lawyer for the Union of India from 1998 to 2008. During his tenure as the Standing Counsel, he has represented the Union of India in the cases related to the Armed Forces, Financial Matters, Service Matter, Arbitration and Land Acquisition.
He has also represented the Union of India in the matters related to the Export-import and has represented various ministries.
He regularly appears as the Amicus Curie in several cases.
Monika Srivastava is a Campus Law Centre, Delhi University alumnus and is a Masters in Law.
She graduated in law in the year 1991. She has a dynamic professional career, which is beautifully canvassed by the roles of an Advocate, an Academician and a Writer.
Monika is primarily active in the areas of Advisory and Legal Consultations.
She has been a visiting faculty for law, for the last eleven years, in the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Monika is a renowned legal writer. She has authored Manupatra’s ‘The Code of civil Procedure, 1908’

Shishir Mathur graduated in law from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, with Honors, in the year 2005.
He was enrolled as an Advocate in the year 2005 and he is associated with the TCL since 2005.
Amish Dabas is a law graduate from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and got enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in the year 2008.
Before pursuing law he did Political Science (Hons.) from University of Delhi.
He was enrolled as an advocate in the year 2009.
Manoj Pant graduated in law from Mewar Law Institute, Ghaziabad.
He was enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi as an advocate in the year 2007 and is associated with TCL since 2011.
Devender Dedha is a graduate in law from CCS University in 2006.
He was enrolled as an advocate in 2006 and he is associated with the TCL since February 2012.
Anubha Rastogi graduated in Law from Delhi University. She started her career in litigation in the year 2003 with the firm. She has also authored 2 books, 'The Little Handbook on the PCPNDT Act' and 'Claiming Dignity: Compilation of Judgments affecting Reproductive rights of Women'.
She was part of a study examining the level of accountability the State has towards instances of communal violence and co authored Accountability for mass violence: Examining the State’s Record, Centre for Equity Studies & International Development Research Centre, May 2012 Apart from litigating, Anubha has been involved in creating solutions for workplaces, helping them effectively deal with the issues of harassment, discrimination and being in compliance with the laws of the land.
She has worked as a full time in house expert with the HCL Technologies Corporate Headquarters and has helped create their policies on harassment, discrimination, workplace safety and others for offices placed globally.
Anubha is currently looking after the Mumbai office of the Firm.
Santosh Tripathi is a graduate in Law from University of Delhi in the year 2005.
He is enrolled with the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh.
Santosh has been practising before the Allhabad High Court since 2005.
He is looking after the Allahabad office of the Firm.
Tarun Bansal graduated in Law from Delhi University in the year 2008.
He got enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in the year 2009. He has done his Masters in Business Administration from The University of Arizona, USA.
He joined TCL in the year 2012 and is practicing civil litigation. Prior to joining The Chambers of Law, he worked with Deloitte Haskins & Sells as an Attorney in the Tax practice.
Mohammed Shahrukh Hussain
Shakrukh graduated in Law from Aligarh Muslim University in the year 2011. He was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2011.
He started his practice on the civil side and practiced on the trial Courts of Delhi and the NCR towns. He has inter-alia dealt with matrimonial disputes.
Shahrukh joined TCL in August 2013. He is the firm’s face in the trial Court in the field of criminal litigation.
Badar Mahmood graduated in Law from Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Pune in the year 2011. He was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2011.
He did his Masters in Law in 2014.
He joined TCL in the year 2012 and is working with TCL since then. He is practicing on the Criminal side of litigation and is equally comfortable with the Civil Litigation.
Utkarsha is a law graduate from Symbiosis Law School, Pune and has been in active practice since 2011.
She started her career in the Supreme Court of India and thereafter, she has been actively handling matters in the High Court of Delhi as well as in different Forums/Tribunals such as National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Company Law Board. Ms. Kohli until recently was empanelled as an Advocate, for the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Ltd (A Government of India enterprise).
Apart from litigation, Ms. Utkarsha Kohli has done research on various legal aspects such as: “Labour Laws in India: from a gender perspective”, which was an initiative of the Union Ministry of Women and Child Welfare and the World Bank. Further, she also worked closely with Ms. Indu Malhotra, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, on her book on Arbitration law in India.
Pankaj Kumar Verma
Pankaj Kumar Verma graduated in Law from Delhi University in the year 2012. He was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2012.
He is with the firm since 2013 and is practicing on the Criminal side.
Sharmishta graduated in Law from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun in the year 2014. She was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2014.

Praman Narain Mathur
Praman Narain graduated in law from Amity University in the year 2014. He was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2014.
He joined TCL in July, 2014, and has been actively involved in the Criminal practice of the firm spanning across the High Court and the District Courts of New Delhi.
Vasudha graduated with honors in Political Science from Banasthali University, Rajasthan and subsequently completed her LL.B from ILS Law College, Pune.
She enrolled herself with the Bar Council of Delhi in the year 2014, and has been working with The Chambers of Law ever since.
